-- [6] CHAPTER SIX: Decisions, decisions.. After the whole Joe Clark thing, I lived in peace for some twenty-seven months. However, life quickly got dull, everything was quite repetitive here. I wanted to explore, wander the world. So, I spun a globe, and landed on a place called.. Canada. I chose Vancouver, because it was the first city I saw. I also did some research, and apart from the high prices for even a single-bedroom apartment, it's amazing! Lots of cultures not fighting, but singing together as one voice, like a choir does. Also, I considered the amazing minimum wage in Canada, 17 and a half dollars, enough to get me an apartment. However, I should be qualified to earn a comfortable life. Also, the amazing public transport! Buses every 15 or less minutes on the "Frequent Transit Network," and even an extensive metro system! I sent that $50 back to whoever gave it to me, told my landlord I was moving out, and sent my 1-week resignation notice to New World. And so, began another chapter of my life! But before that.. I needed to pack up, so I sold my Corolla I got some six months ago. I also bought some more travel adaptors because I had Europlug and Type-1 plug electronics, and Canada has different sockets. Some of my electronics will go through two(!) adaptors now, so I need to have an actual solution to this. I also sold my TV and DVR because it won't work in Canada. Canada has 60 hertz electricity, and therefore uses the NTSC television standard, so there. I also transferred my SIM to my Nokia 3310 4G, because my original 3310 - the one from 2001, doesn't use the mobile bands in Canada. --
